Did you know there is a sacred stone that can help you to balance the masculine and feminine sides of yourself? The yin and yang, the moon and sun side of your physical and energy body? It’s the magic you’ll find in yourself when using the Shiva Lingam Stone, which is considered the highest frequency of all stones on earth and releases an energetic vibration that clears and cleanses your living space too ~ bonus!
This crystal stone is actually a form of Jasper and is powerful and considered rare. The stones are collected from the banks of the Narmada River in India only once a year, and since this is designated a sacred site, great reverence is taken when gathering them.
The Hindu culture highly reveres these stones because they connect with Lord Shiva and symbolize the inner being, the energy shape of the soul, and are highly blessed. The stones are said to draw out our positive spiritual qualities, and as a result are extremely effective for healing and meditations.
The Lingams are energy conductors for balance and directly correlate through an energetic frequency to the Heart Chakra. They also nurture the Sacral Chakra and the Third Eye. It’s also said that the Lingam comes into your life when you need it the most.
Experiences when working with Lingam Stones are the sudden rush of energy sensations up and down the body (indicative of a Chakra clearing) as well as sudden clarity of the mind in the midst of confusion (a Third Eye awakening.)
A wonderful way I have worked with the Shiva Lingam stone is to hold it in meditation while doing Mantras and Mudras. Mantras are repeating sounds and Mudras are positioning the hands to both activate specific meridian points in the body.
Here is how to use the Shiva Lingam Mudra Meditation:
Place your left hand, palm facing up with your fingers close together to form a bowl, level with your solar plexus. Try to point your elbow outward and slightly forward. Then, while holding a small Lingam stone in the palm of your right hand, form a fist with your thumb facing up and place it in your cupped left hand.
Picture your left hand as a mortar and your right hand a pestle. Take a few mindful breaths, and begin to imagine whatever is making you feel sick, upset, or anything that you wish to release from your body ~ and imagine in your mind’s eye this energy falling like muddy gravel into your left hand, and from the Lingam stone that is being held in your right hand.
With the edge of your right hand, then grind everything into dust, and blow it out of your left hand as though it is the finest of sand. Continue to remain in meditation for a few minutes afterwards to allow the energy to flow through you.
It is also very powerful to listen to any healing Mantra while doing this Mudra. The Om Nama Shivaya Mantra is recommended when using the Lingam stone to enhance this particular Mudra and energy balancing effects. Since Ma is the Mantra of the heart, it resonates with the frequencies of love and also because the Heart Chakra is the fulcrum of all of the Chakras this can help to balance the entire Chakra System.
Remember to energetically cleanse your Shiva Lingam stone with sage afterwards and run it under cold water for one minute to charge it. The more you work with this incredible energy balancing stone, you will begin to see how easy it is to release what no longer serves you, and call into your energy field what does. Find the magic in you with the Shiva Lingam stone!
