Raised in Scotland, Morag Donald was nurtured by a hardworking and industrious family. As the daughter of an artistic mother, a father who was a draftsman and watercolorist, and the granddaughter of a shipbuilder ~ Morag’s connection to her creativity and Scottish heritage runs deep. After moving to Northern Ireland as an adult, Morag continued to forge a fruitful life as an Artist, Arts Facilitator, Reiki Practitioner, and UNESCO Geopark Guide. Morag connects with nature on an intuitive level while creating bespoke artwork with found, outdoor objects. She then incorporates paint, paper, clay, and felt into each piece. In this two-part interview, Morag discusses why it’s so important to write poetry and songs, advocate for the environment, and collaborate with other like-minded people.
